Breastfeeding in Combat Boots
Finding a Lactation Consultant
One of the best and most cost-effective ways to ensure breastfeeding success is to employ the services of a lactation consultant, preferably one who is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). An IBCLC can provide expert assistance with breastfeeding at a fraction of what formula would cost.
If you are having difficulties breastfeeding, online information and support CANNOT replace the comprehensive services of in-person consultation with an IBCLC. This list is a compilation of military and private practice LC's who have expertise and knowledge in working with active-duty/reserve military mothers.
