SUBMISSIONS

I am actively searching for submissions from former or current breastfeeding mothers who are serving in the armed forces (Active or Reserve). Stories, photos, tips and information that you wish you had known, or what you found helpful are what I am looking for.

You can use the questions below and send to me via e-mail as an attachment to i nfo@breastfeedingincombatboots.com or you can use the form below. You MUST provide a valid e-mail address so that I can contact you for any clarification needed. If I choose to use your material you will be contacted to sign a release form prior to publication.

Here are a few questions to help get you started:

1. Name, Rank, Rating/Designation, Dates of Service, Command
2. Breastfeeding Info (how long did you breastfeed, any problems, age of weaning)
3. Pumping Info (brand of pump, how often did you pump, where did you pump)
4. Workplace Issues (talking to supervisor, breaks to pump, place to pump, co-worker problems)
5. Unusual Issues (working with HazMat, deployments, etc)
6. Tips that made pumping easier, kept you breastfeeding
7. Information you wish you had known about before you breastfed your baby while in the military?
